Forte are working hard to provide continuity and a sense of normality.
With your patience, commitment and engagement we can create a community of continuing learners during these difficult times. Providing children (and adults) with a sense of normality, routine and progression in a time when everything feels like it’s coming to a halt is important, and the social connectivity we are able to provide by learning together is crucial.
Forte have created three learning tiers, which all of our students are welcome to engage with and also change at any stage in their enrolment:
In School
We will continue to teach in school for as long as we are able to. We have engaged the sanitisation suppliers for the Queensland Police, and have in place protocols to ensure we can control our space. We just ask that you follow these protocols and take advantage of our unlimited make up policy, if you are in any way unwell, to ensure the health and safety of our staff and students.
Social Distancing
We are able to arrange lessons at a time when there are 10 or less people in the school. These times may include from 10am each day of the week or all day Sunday. We also have separate entrances and are able to accomodate students who wish to limit their interaction.
Social Isolation
Our online lessons have been going beautifully, both for private and group lessons. We have wonderful teachers that are delivering dynamic and fun lessons right into your own home! Develop a sense of community, continue progression and keep kids occupied while at home with a weekly lesson, or even multiple lesson each week – imagine coming out of this a better musician!
Whatever you choose to do, please email us your preference so we can adequately plan. We are doing everything in our power to keep all 36 of our employees working through this difficult period, so your support and clear communication is essential and greatly appreciated.
